우리가 애써서 찾는 것들이
썩어 없으질 양식임을 ~~~~
묵상글: “사라질 것을 위해 사는 우리”
“썩어 없어질 양식을 얻으려고 힘쓰지 말고,
길이 남아 영생에 이르게 하는 양식을 얻으려고 힘쓰라.” (요한복음 6:27 공동번역)
썩는 것은 우리 육신만이 아닙니다.
우리가 그렇게 애써서 모은 것들,
잠을 줄여가며 지켜온 자리,
사람들 앞에서 지키려 한 체면,
그 모든 것도 결국은 사라질 것입니다.
우리는 언젠가 반드시 깨닫게 됩니다.
정말 필요한 양식은
사라지지 않는 것,
영원히 남는 것,
우리 영혼을 살리는 것이라는 사실을.
그 양식은
사람의 아들이 우리에게 주십니다.
그분은 우리 안에 생명을 심으려 오셨습니다.
먹고 마시고 흘려보내는 인생이 아니라,
의미로 살아가는 인생을 주시기 위해.
마무리 묵상
이 그림 앞에 오래 머물러 봅니다.
그림 속 인물은 우리입니다.
무언가를 움켜쥐고, 먹고, 안달하는 모습.
그러나 이젠,
영원한 것을 향해 허기를 느끼는 존재가 되고 싶습니다.
사라질 양식을 넘어,
참 생명 되신 예수님 안에서 배부른 인생이 되길 바랍니다.

We labor with trembling hands,
grasping bread that cannot last.
Its warmth fades.
Its scent disappears.
Its promise, always slipping through our fingers.
Still, we rise at dawn,
chasing crumbs that vanish with time.
We eat, yet remain hungry.
We earn, yet stay empty.
But there is a voice—
gentle yet unshakable—
that calls us beyond the perishable:
“Do not work for food that spoils,
but for the bread that endures
to eternal life.”
(John 6:27, Common Translation)
This Bread is not bought with sweat,
but given in grace.
It fills not the stomach,
but the soul.
In a world where all things pass,
He alone remains.
And in Him,
our hunger ends.
