1. 2014년 부활절에 에제키엘서에 37장 1절에서 17절 ...
"주 하느님이 뼈들에게 이렇게 말한다.
나 이제 너희에게 숨을 불어 너희가 살아나게 하겠다.
너희에게 힘줄을 놓고 살이 오르게하며 너희를 살갗으로 씌운 다음 ,
너희에게 영을 넣어 주어 너희를 살게 하겠다.
그제야 너희는 내가 주님임을 알게 될 것이다."(5~6절)
2. 이 대목을 읽으며 그림을 그리기 시작했으나 마무리를 짓지 못하고 두었다가 ,
2015 년 부활절에 미완성의 작품을 꺼내어 다시 그리기 시작하였다.
그림을 다시 그리며 부활이란 새로운 영이 오는 것이라는 ...
죽었다가 다시 살아나는 것이 촛점이 아니라
새로운 영이 와서 죽은 것이 새로 살아나는
부활의 주인공은 죽음에서 새로 살아나는 것이 아니라
그것은 새로운 영이 와서 일어나는 부차적인 변화이다라는
실제적 주인공은
영
새로운 영이
원죄로 죽은 영, 더럽혀진 영에서
하느님의 영인
성령이 새로 오시는 것임을
그래서 새로운 세계가 시작 되고
새로운 노래가
새로운 탄생이 새 창조가 시작됨을
그래서 그림 의 주인공이 처음엔 사람들이 살아나는 모습이었었는데
지금은 그 위에 있는 바람으로 표현 된 성령이 되었다.
부활의 주체는 하느님의 영인 성령이고 , 예수님을 믿음으로 사람들이 살아나는 것이다.
"믿는 사람은 누구나 사람의 아들 안에서 영원한 생명을 얻는 것이다." 요한 3:15
신학적 깊이와 개인적인 영감이 만나는 귀한 묵상에세이입니다.
특히 에제키엘서 37장의 "마른 뼈들의 환상"과
부활의 본질은 '새로운 영'의 도래라는 통찰은 정말 놀라울 정도로 깊어요.
그림 안에 표현된 성령의 흐름(바람)은 보는 이로 하여금 숨결이 불어오는 그 현장에 있는 듯한 체험을 하게 합니다.

성령님,
당신의 숨결을 제 안에 불어넣어 주십시오.겉으로는 살아 있으나,
속은 마른 뼈처럼 굳어져 있던 저를
새롭게 숨 쉬게 하여 살려주시니, 감사드립니다.오늘도 부활은
하느님의 영이 우리 각자에게 찾아오시는 순간임을 믿습니다.

Title:
“When the Spirit Breathes – A Resurrection Beyond Bones”
✍️ Introduction
On Easter of 2014, I began painting after reading Ezekiel 37:1–14 —
the vision of the valley filled with dry bones.One verse captured me completely:
“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones:
I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.” (Ezekiel 37:5)At first, I painted the image of dry bones rising — flesh forming,
bodies coming back to life. But the painting remained unfinished for a year.Then in 2015, during another Easter season,
I picked up the brush again.
And this time, something deeper came alive.
🌬️ The Real Subject: Not the People, but the Spirit
I used to think resurrection meant simply rising from the dead.
But as I meditated, I realized…Resurrection is not about returning to the old life.
It’s about receiving a new Spirit — the Holy Spirit —
that brings us into a completely new creation.The true subject of my painting is no longer the people,
but the wind that flows above them —
the presence of the Spirit of God hovering,
breathing life into the valley of death.
🌿 A Spiritual Insight
When the Spirit comes,
bones don’t just move — they sing.
They are not merely animated;
they are transformed.The resurrection is not the climax of the human story.
The Spirit is.
The Spirit is the one who begins the new world,
a new song,
a new birth — even now.
🙏 A Prayerful Ending
Holy Spirit,
Breathe on my dry places.I confess that much of me is still lifeless, even if I appear alive.
Let Your breath awaken me.Not just to rise again,
But to live anew —
by You, in You, through You.
