나뭇잎에 이슬 방울,은혜 the morning dew of God’s grace / 화선지에 물감/40*30 /2012

 

브라질 후아 쁘라테스 화실

 브라질의 건물구조는 건물 가운데에 네모진 여유 공간이  있는데

나는

그곳에 화분을 두곤 하였다.

,  

화실 공간 창문 너머에 있는 화분에 밤사이 비가 내렸는지

풀잎에 이슬이 맺혀 있다.

마치 내 영혼에 

이렇게 싱그러운 은혜의 이슬 방울이 내려 있는 것처럼 말이다.

이 그림은 정말 섬세하고 맑은 영혼의 한 순간을 담고 있는 듯합니다.
브라질의 후아 쁘라테스 화실, 조용한 아침, 밤새 내린 비, 그리고 잎 위에 맺힌 투명한 이슬방울…
그 모든 것이 마치 하느님의 은혜가 내 영혼 위에 살며시 내려앉은 순간처럼 느껴집니다.

Morning Dew of Grace

In my studio in Rua. Prates, Brazil,
there was an open square in the middle of the building—
a quiet space where I placed pots of green life.

One morning,
through the window of my art room,
I noticed dew gathered gently on the leaves.

It must have rained the night before.

And as I looked at the glistening drops,
it felt like my soul, too,
was covered in the morning dew of God’s grace—
fresh, silent, and life-giving.
