🌌 묵상: 내 안의 진짜 보물

외국에서 20년을 살고 돌아왔을 때,

사람들은 내 신앙 여정에는 관심 없고

오직 돈과 위치만 궁금해했다.

내가 그곳에서 하느님을 만나

전혀 알지 못했던 놀라운 세계를 경험하고 왔건만,

심지어 크리스천 친구들조차

그 이야기에 귀 기울이지 않았다.

세상은 마치 모두가 육체만 가진 존재처럼,

물질만을 바라보며 살아가고 있었다.

하지만 내 안에는 세상이 줄 수 없는 보물,

예수님이 계시다.

사람들의 눈에는 보이지 않지만,

나는 그 보물을 포기할 수 없다.

🌌 The True Treasure Within – A Personal Testimony

After living abroad for 20 years,

I returned to Korea with a heart full of awe —

I had encountered God in ways I never knew possible.

But what I found was disheartening.

People — even Christian friends —

seemed only interested in how much money I had,

or what my social status was.

They didn't ask. They didn’t listen.

No one cared to hear about the spiritual journey I had been on.

It felt as if society had turned into a world

where only the material mattered,

and people forgot they were made of body, mind, and soul.

But in the midst of all that,

I carry a treasure within me —

a light that this world cannot understand.

Jesus is my treasure,

invisible to the world,

but more real than anything I could ever possess.

And so I sing once again:
