사무엘상25장29절

나발의 아내 아비가일이 나발로 부터 받은 모욕으로 

화가나 있는 다윗에게 한 말 중

" 나리를 쫒아다니며 나리의 목숨을 노리는 사람이 있다 하더라도,

주 나리의 하느님께서 나리 목숨을 생명의 보자기에 감싸일 것입니다"

생명의 보자기.............

아빠 아버지 저희들의 목숨도 생명의 보자기에 감싸 주시옵소서

🌿 묵상: 생명의 보자기에 감싸이다

"비록 누군가가 당신의 생명을 빼앗으려고 쫓아온다 할지라도,

당신의 생명은 주 당신의 하느님께서 생명의 보자기에 단단히 감싸 주실 것입니다."

— 사무엘상 25장 29절

인생에는 세상이 불안하게 느껴질 때가 있습니다.

눈에 보이는 위협이든, 보이지 않는 두려움이든, 우리를 짓누르고 흔들어 놓습니다.

용사 다윗도 그런 사람 중 하나였습니다. 모욕을 당하고 분노에 휩싸였던 그 순간,

지혜로운 여인 아비가일은 다윗에게 생명의 말씀을 전했습니다.

그녀는 말했습니다.

“하느님께서 당신의 생명을 생명의 보자기 속에 감싸 주실 것입니다.”

이 얼마나 아름답고 신비로운 표현입니까?

생명의 보자기.

그것은 마치 하느님의 손으로 싸여진 신성한 고치, 은혜의 두루마리 안에서 보존되는 생명을 떠올리게 합니다.

세상의 혼란 속에서도, 우리는 방치되지 않고 하느님의 자비로운 품 안에 감싸져 있습니다.

우리가 연약하고, 지치고, 위협에 노출되었다 느껴질 때—

이 약속을 기억합시다:

💧우리는 혼자가 아닙니다. 버려지지 않았습니다. 하느님 안에 감싸져 있습니다.

기도하는 자의 모습이 녹색과 하늘빛 안에 포근히 감싸인 그림처럼,

우리의 영혼도 하느님의 보호 아래에 있음을 믿습니다.

아빠 아버지,

저희의 생명을 생명의 보자기 속에 감싸 주소서.

주님의 품 가까이에, 주님의 생명 안에 살아가게 하소서.

🌿 Meditation: Bound in the Bundle of the Living

"Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life, the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God."

— 1 Samuel 25:29 (NIV)

There are moments in life when the world feels unsafe — when threats, whether visible or invisible, press in.

David, the mighty warrior, was once such a man, pursued and wearied, his heart inflamed with anger.

But in that moment, a woman of wisdom, Abigail, spoke life over him.

She reminded him of God’s protection — that even if enemies pursue, God Himself binds His beloved securely in the “bundle of the living.”

What a beautiful and mysterious phrase: the bundle of the living.

It paints the picture of a divine cocoon, a sacred wrapping where life is preserved by the very hands of God.

Not exposed to chaos, not left to fate, but hidden in the folds of His mercy.

When we feel fragile, overwhelmed, or threatened —

May we remember this promise:

💧We are not alone. We are not unprotected. We are held.

Like the figure in the image, bowed in prayer and enveloped in green and sky,

we too are wrapped in the shelter of the Almighty.

Abba Father, wrap our lives in the bundle of the living. Keep us near to You,

safe from harm, and alive in Your presence.

Let your heart dwell richly in His Word.
