🌿 묵상글: 사랑과 고난의 길

예수님과 어머니 마리아,

이 둘의 관계는 세상 어떤 사랑보다 깊고 순결했습니다.

작은 아기가 어머니의 품에 안겨 얼굴을 부비는 이 장면은

완전한 평화와 기쁨의 순간처럼 보입니다.

그러나 이 사랑은

십자가의 길로 향하는 사랑이었습니다.

장미꽃이 그려진 이 그림 속에도

붉은 장미와 흰 장미가 섞여 있습니다.

붉은 장미는 사랑을,

그리고 피 흘리는 고난을 상징합니다.

흰 장미는 순결한 헌신과 하늘의 위로를 의미하겠지요.

예수님을 품에 안고 사랑으로 키우시던 마리아는

결국 그 아들을 십자가에 내어드리는 고통을 감당해야 했습니다.

그 사랑은 단지 감정의 사랑이 아니라,

하나님의 뜻에 순종한 희생의 사랑이었습니다.

💧 우리가 주님의 길을 따를 때,

때로는 고난도 동반되지만,

그 길의 끝에는 부활과 영원한 사랑이 기다리고 있음을 믿습니다.

주님, 저희도 마리아처럼 고난 속에서도 사랑으로 순종하게 하소서.

🌿 Meditation: The Path of Love and Suffering

In this tender image,

Mary holds the infant Jesus gently in her arms, surrounded by blooming roses.

It is a portrait of perfect love, peace, and warmth.

But this love would one day walk the path of the cross.

Among the roses, we notice both red and white.

The red symbolizes sacrificial love, and the blood of suffering to come.

The white stands for purity, obedience, and heaven’s comfort.

Mary, who loved and nurtured her Son with all her heart,

would ultimately offer Him back to God—

watching Him walk the road to Calvary.

This is not just a mother’s love—

It is love surrendered to the will of God.

💧 And so, we too are called to love not only when it is easy,

but also in suffering, in surrender, in trust.

Lord, help us to follow like Mary—

to love with courage, and obey with faith, even when it hurts
